10 NEW COLOURS
LEE FILTERS are pleased to announce that ten new colours have been added to the popular LEE Designer Series: a range of filters created by some of the top designers in stage, screen and architectural lighting.
Tanya Burns and Mike Robertson are the two latest designers to be invited to the LEE Filters factory to work alongside the Research and Development Team to create their own unique range of colours. Both Tanya and Mike spent a day in the LEE Filters laboratory and they each produced five new colours which have now been added to the LEE Designer series.
Lighting Designer Tanya Burns also took up the challenge of creating a new colour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of L&SI magazine - 525 Argent Blue which will become a useful addition to the Lighting Designers Toolkit.

3 NEW TECHNICAL FILTERS
A demand from lighting professionals requiring a smoother more even colour change when using Scrollers has resulted in three new strengths of colour conversion being added to the LEE Technical Filter range.

NEW PERFORATED DIFFUSIONS
Diffusion media was originally developed to soften hard or point sources and LEE Filters have many different diffusions that do this job. With the amount of soft sources now in daily use around the world LEE Filters have now developed specific diffusions that work with soft lights.
The perforated diffusion produces both a soft but directional source by allowing a combination of diect and diffused light to combine.

439P Perforated Heavy Quiet Frost - A combination of both direct and strongly diffused light.
NEW FROM IANIRO: ALADDIN LED 18.7W - 9.3W 12V
The popular Ianiro 12V lights ALADDIN and DVcam_light, have been renewed and based on state of the art LED technology. The result is an on-camera light as bright as a 50W conventional tungsten unit with less than half the power consumption.
Ianiro's lighting specialists have found that only high quality LEDs in particular arrays can deliver real efficiency and the right balance between power consumption, light performance and longevity. Many earlier generation LED systems lack the performance required for professional television production.
Ianiro ALADDIN LED benefits from using precise LED colour groups combined with new custom engineered PCBs. Empolying Osram Oslon LED's, an exceptionally small light source designed to maximise application efficiency, the designers at Ianiro have been able to engineer a slim and compact camera light that delivers directed light with outstanding efficiency.
The ALADDIN LED employs a mixed configuartion with six white LEDS balanced by an amber LED to produce a colour temperature suitable for digital acquisitiion 5600ºK with quick white tune settings at 6500ºK and 4500ºK and with a CRI greater than 90.
