Cash Sale Payment Terms
For non- account cash sale customers, goods and or services will not be provided until payment for the goods and/or services is received in full.
Account Customer Payment Terms
The terms of trading for Mediavision Australia account customers are strictly 30 days Nett unless otherwise specified on the invoice.
Title of all goods and services will remain the property of MediavisionAustralia until the payment of all outstanding invoices for goods and services together with any outstanding service fees are paid in full.
The owners/proprietors or directors of any firm referred to in the Mediavision Australia Credit Account Application will remain liable for all goods and services supplied by Mediavision Australia to that business or company until such change has been notified to and accepted in writing by Mediavision Australia and the said owners/proprietors or directors are expressly released from their obligations.
Legal Jurisdiction
All sales are deemed to have been made in the State of Victoria, Australia and the courts of Victoria shall at the sole discretion of Mediavision Australia, have sole jurisdiction in any dispute.
Prices
All prices shown on the website are subject to change without notice.
All price shown include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%.
All prices shown do not include delivery.
Prices on Indent Items
Some products are marked indent only and a specific currency exchange based quotation will be provided for these particular products before the customer places an order. In some circumstances a deposit may be required with placement of an order.
Delivery
All goods are sold and delivered ex Mediavision Australia Warehouse, either Ashwood, Victoria or Gladesville, NSW. A separate delivery fee will be charged on all items, which is dependent on the quantity of items purchased affecting weight and volume, the customer location and the delivery deadline requested. The most cost effective and expedient delivery solution can be provided by contacting Mediavision Australia prior to purchase.
Product Suitability
Before placing an order, if there is any doubt about the use or suitability of a product, contact a representative of Mediavision Australia to provide answers to any questions about products shown on this website.
Returns and Claims
All claims must be made in writing within 7 days of the delivery. No returns will be accepted without authority from Mediavision Australia.
Mediavision Australia will issue an MRA (Merchandise Return Authority) number which must be identified on all return paperwork by the customer.
If you wish to return a product because you have changed your mind about the purchase or the product is not suitable for the intended use, Mediavision Australia will offer you a refund or exchange provided that:
- Your claim is made within 7 days of the delivery of the item.
- You have an original Mediavision Australia Delivery Docket or Invoice.
- The product is in a re-saleable condition that is in the original packaging, including any instructions, manuals and accessories, and the product has been unopened, unused and in original condition.
- Payment of return freight to Mediavision Australia Warehouse either, Ashwood, Victoria or Gladesville, NSW is the responsibility of the customer unless another arrangement has been specified.
If any of these requirements are not satisfied, Mediavision Australia either reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund on the product, or charge a restocking fee of not less than 20% of the original item value inclusive of GST.
Delivery charges are strictly not refundable.
Generally items we cannot accept for return or exchange are:
- Books and DVDs where the security seal has been broken.
- Lamps Tungsten, Fluorescent & Discharge
- Lighting Filter Sheets & Rolls
- Camera Filters Resin & Glass
- Filter/Lens Cleaners & Cloths
- Adhesive Tapes
We will only accept these particular items for refund or exchange and subject to obtaining an MRA (Merchandise Return Authority) if:
- The product is faulty due to manufacture.
- The product is not fit for the purpose intended.
- The product does not match the sample or our description.
Warranty
Except where specifically noted, all equipment hardware items carry a warranty of twelve months against defective materials and workmanship.
Lamps and expendable items such as lighting filter sheets & rolls, adhesive tapes and filter lens cleaners/cloths are not included.
Warranty is deemed to be voided if the product is used for a purpose that it is not specifically intended to be used for.
The Mediavision Australia warranty is limited solely to the monetary value of the product and Mediavision Australia will not be responsible for any other damages either consequential or incidental or any failure of the product to perform.
Site User Name and Password
The customer must take responsibility for the safekeeping of the user name and password issued by Mediavision Australia. The customer will be fullyliable if the user name and password are used by an unauthorised person.
